The Kendalcragg herd of Pedigree Holsteins consists of 60 milking cows and followers. The majority of the cows & heifers are served to the Holstein so we have 20-30 heifers entering the herd each year.
We calve most of the year with the majority calving between August & December.
We have a policy to sell the majority of cows when they calve their 3rd calf and a selection of Heifers.
This keeps us with a young herd.
